NO RESERVE....This auction is for a BEAUTIFUL American Flyer #466 Comet diesel Engine. Manufactured 1954-1955, this engine was test run today. The e-unit functions properly allowing the unit to run in both directions, however we strongly suggest to have the motor cleaned and lubricated prior to operation. The headlight does work.This engine appears to be 100% original with the exception of the replaced front decal. All other decals are in near perfect condition. The engine has a few minor nicks and also some minor scuffing on one side above the top stripe toward the rear of the engine which is slightly visable in the second picture.
