This is the The Cheif passenger set American Flyer produced in 1953. Comes with Chromed 4713 (470/471/473) Santa Fe Alco Pa/Pb/Pa diesels, These are a beautiful set of engines,one small scratch on the roof of the Pb unit,some small nicks on the Pa units,the chrome on all the units overall is very bright, very little run time, also comes with air chime whistle horn control, also they are in their original numbered wrappers.The passenger cars are as follows:960 baggage 961 coach 962 vista dome 963 observation, the roof of the 960 baggage is showing some spotting along with the 963 observation,but not as bad the other cars are fine, the chrome overall on the cars is still very nice.The boxes are also in very nice shape, still very crisp, all main flaps intact, some small loose flaps,some tapping, but very nice.. Comes with a boxed set of twelve curved track and straight track, air chime whistle. This has all paper work inspection slips, service station booklet,instruction manual etc. This is a very nice set. The set box has all flaps attached a bit shelf worn, and getting brittle. I do not test or clean items sold as is. So please ask questions I am not an american flyer expert I will try to answer as best I can. $40.00 quality packing and shipping .
